Arrival and Acclimitzation

• Arrive at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport, Leh, where our representative will meet you at the exit gate and transfer you to your hotel.
• The day is kept for complete rest to help you acclimatize to the high altitude.
• In the evening, take a slow-paced walk around Leh Bazaar.

Leh - Sangam - Hall of Fame - Leh

• After breakfast, proceed for a day excursion visiting Hall of Fame , Gurudwara Pathar Sahib , Magnetic Hil, and the Sangam , where the Indus and Zanskar rivers meet.
• In the evening, visit Shanti Stupa , a peace structure built on a hill offering beautiful sunset views.
• Later, revisit Hall of Fame to attend the famous Light & Sound show.
• The Hall of Fame near Leh is a must-visit museum built by the Indian Army. It showcases memorabilia, biographies of eminent defense personalities, photographs, and weapons used during the Kargil War.
• Shanti Stupa , located about 1 km from Leh, was built by a Japanese Buddhist order in the 1980s. It is a beautiful monument adorned with colorful paintings and houses large statues of Buddha while offering panoramic views of Leh and the Indus Valley.

Leh - Nubra Valley

Distance: 125 km | Journey Time: 5 hours | Max Altitude: 18,380 feet

• After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass , one of the highest motorable roads in the world.
• Enjoy stunning views of the Karakoram Range en route.
• Continue along the Shyok River, including stops for an ATV ride and a visit to Diskit Monastery featuring the Maitreya Buddha statue Reach Hunder by late afternoon and visit the sand dunes for a camel safari.
• Diskit Monastery, founded in the 14th century, is the largest monastery in the Diskit region. Its main attraction is the 33-meterhigh statue of Maitreya Buddha, which overlooks the Shyok River and Nubra Valley.

Nubra Valley - Turtuk - Nubra Valley

Distance: 82 km | Journey Time: 2.5 hours | Max Altitude: 10,000 feet

• After breakfast, drive to Turtuk, known as the last village before the border and often referred to as the “Promised Land.”
• This scenic village was once part of Baltistan in Pakistan and was recaptured by India during the 1971 war.
• Travel up to Zero Point, from where the Pakistan border lies just 2.2 km away, and observe both Indian and Pakistani bunkers through binoculars.
• Turtuk is a Muslim village inhabited by Balti people living harmoniously.
• After exploring its beauty and landscapes, return to Hunder.

Leh Local Sightseeing (Shey - Thiksey)

• After breakfast, visit Shey Palace & Monastery, Thiksey Monastery, and the famous 3 Idiots School.
• Shey Palace, once the summer palace of the former kings of Leh, is situated on a hill and houses a 7.5-meter-high copper statue of a seated Buddha gilded in gold, one of the largest of its kind.
• Thiksey Monastery, located 19 km from Leh, is among the largest and most impressive monasteries in Ladakh. Perched on a hill, it offers stunning panoramic views of the Indus Valley and contains numerous statues, stupas, and colorful Thangkas.
• The 3 Idiots- The school gained popularity after being featured in the Bollywood movie 3 Idiots. Entry depends on school authorities.
